Follow this link. It states clearly that this is the EngineQuest CH318B head.

A significant price difference between 2 places. Good to confirm for sure that it is the same piece. Thanks Dog.

EQ was originally manufactured in New Zealand. Those are the heads that I use. Production has switched to china for some years now. Not the same quality of cast iron. As for the rest, can't say anything. If the are made in New Zealand, I'd opt for the better materials. But as anything anymore, there's always something off. The company is in New Zealand but the product might come exclusively from china. For whats its worth, I run 10.70 at 6200 with a well prepped set of the original EQ's on a 360.

that is disheartening to hear that it might be problematic to pin down if they even are the good ones (actually MADE in New Zealand). I have a pair of EQ's from AAmidwest in Vegas & the box(es) did say new zealand (the box looked legit from there) & I have a single one, a #514210 bare mag head from Jegs. Their site has em (that same one) for $311 shipped as I'd like to have a pair of em to work with.

A/MP you should check for facts before making a blanket statement.

Here is the response from A&A (Enginequest):

Hello

The EQ Magnum cylinder head is casted and machined in New Zealand.

I hope this puts this BS to rest.

There is a Chinese Mag head but it is not an EngineQuest.
