He hit the water at 120+ mph and the car went sideways, then started rolling. Plastic body parts were flying every which way. My daughter asked me, "Is he dead?" He walked away and it took a year to rebuild the car. Then back to the track! R.

Lots of aches and pains. Stock seat belts. Interesting you mention that. On Sunday night a friend and his wife took out his 68 MG he just got finished restoring. About 10 mi. from home on the busiest 2 lane road in our area, someone turned across in front of him. Hit head on and ejected his wife out of the car. She didn't make it. They had their "stock factory" seat belts on. It makes you stop and think about our older cars and how safe we really are inside of them...
