I just acquired a RB Indy wedge block aluminum and just bushed the lifter bores and installed bronze bushings.
What I am seeing with this new block is that the oil galleys are facing inward in this block which will cause oil to flow full pressure all the time, resulting in too much oil to the rockers.
The crower lifters I have are designed for stock block application where the oil galley facing outward.
I also drilled oil drain backs in the valley larger for better drainage.

Which ones are you running? Trying to see if we can make close to 1000HP naturally aspirated.

Typically, the “correct” oil feed location for a bb Mopar is having them parallel to the axles, and above the band.

Hopefully the place that installed the bushings didn’t put “giant” holes in the bushings.
A .030 feed hole is more than enough.

Restrict at the pushrod. Though I would've gone with a smaller size feed, mine are restricted with roll pins, .055 orifice. It has great oil pressure and no problem with oil return on my set-up. Indy-1 /mega block.

Doesn't Best Machine build a lot of these Indy aluminum block motors?
I'd love to hear from them to see what lifters they use in their builds.

Are your bushing for .903 or .904 lifter body size?
If so buy the best lifters you can get for that build up twocents

I tried comp elites and crowes, these lifters seem to be for oil galleys facing outward.
OIL is hemmoraging out through the lifter bore, I need a lifter designed for the indy aluminum block

How about a couple pics of what isn’t working?
