Mine is a SRW 4 door 8 foot bed, and I've got a symmetrical hoist, so it's not an exact match to your question. The pinch point in my shop is a loft not visible in the pic. Alot of time went into making sure it'd work. I can measure when I get home, if that would help.

The lift I have now is 12K.. I will buy a new lift in the spring but a lot lighter... I have used my lift for my diesel dually but that is real seldom so its not worth buying one just for that..I put on cars and jeeps up on the lift way more.. the only reason I'm gonna get a new one is I'm sick of banging my head on this one.. it needs a few more inches of lift

I have 9' from the front of my asymmetric 9k Rotary to the front of my bench. Workbench is 24" deep. I've had all kinds of stuff on it. Plenty of room to work, but I wouldn't want it any closer. I like plenty of elbow room.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Just checked...Mine is only 10', so 12 is definitely going to work fine.

The left rear wheel is 5 feet from the wall, so the axle is no problem.

We'll finally after all these years I was able to afford a two-post lift to install in my building. Looking for recommendations on how far to mount it from the workbench. I know a lot of guys are suggesting about 12 to 14 ft from the workbench. What is everyone's recommendations? The biggest vehicle that is going to be on it will be my crew cab dually. It will be going in a 50 foot wide building where is I want to keep the center of it it's open as possible so during the winter time I can store and enclosed trailer and still have access to the back part of the building.
If anybody has a crew cab dually and puts it up on a asymmetric two-post lift can you take a measurement as to how far it extends front of the Post Centerline.
Thanks for everybody's input in advance I bought an extra tall 14,000 lb 4 post bendpak for servicing my 3500 quad cab dually diesel. Interesting that you are buying a 2 post, truck must be empty? When I took mine into the dealer a few times when it was under warranty, they would asked me to take the weight out of the back to not stress the frame of the truck on their 2 post.
