I’m glad that hood found a new home. It’s a 396 small block with Indy’s. I kicked a rod through the 499 block and went back to my small block roots. We’re just trying to dial it in to run 6.0 index stuff. I’ve not had enough passes with it yet to get it settled down, we were just surprised it left the way it did on only 12 degrees of timing

Is this a NA combo and if so why 12 degrees timing.

It looks like the driver let off instead of short shifting, yes? work
Hopefully it didn't hurt the truck or driver luck

That was leaving on 175 hp of nitrous, I’m new to the programmable ignition box. I’ve always just used a timer to turn it on, so this is a learning curve for me. Nothing hurt at all, I just new I was getting close to the centerline. It went 6.08 off the trailer, we’re just looking to run some 5.90/ 6.0 index stuff around here. It’s got a 727 in it now, but my glide is sitting here ready to go in. We may tinker with it for a while with the 3 speed, but the glide will make things much more manageable

Ok thanks that makes more sense. I may get my 3 bottles filled at Norwalk this weekend and try nitrous for my first time. I want to get a mother bottle but its to late in the year for that. I would just like to get my feet wet. LOL

Thanks man! It’s good to be making some laps again, now if I can get it all one color again!
