I've been meaning to list these... As some of you know, I've been offering the 70-1 (will fit 72-4) E body overhead headliners for a few years now, after quite a few requests I've now added the overhead consoles so you can now replace damaged or missing units, or add this option to your E body, the consoles are hand layed fiberglass just like the repro headliner boards, same thickness, same approx weight of the original fiberboard consoles and headliner boards... The consoles have mounting studs molded in and will attach to repro or original headliners, all holes/slots/openings are marked for the customer to transfer all the various trim as desired... These are just the bare bases, NO cloth material NOR trim is available or installed, headliner boards are now $325, and consoles are $125 will ship US/Canada/International
Contact me here on Moparts PM, or dayclona@gmail.com for more info/shipping quotes/etc

Just curious... what does it cost to ship one of those headliner boards. I imagine its not pretty, seeing as how big an awkward it is to ship via the UPS/FedEx gorilla's.
Still have and original overhead and full wiring harness laying around that I had kind of gave up on... But seeing that panel has kind of peaked my interest a little... although not for this year.

Runner2go, It all depends where in the US/Canada/International you want it to go? but generally for the US48 it varies from a low of $125-$200 on the east coast, and $200 to $300 for central/mid-west delivery on upwards of $400 to the west coast (I'm located in Massachusetts)for shipping/insured value, due to the size of the box being oversized truck freight, approx 55"X58"x6", Canadian shipping charges have run from $250 USD up to $400+USD depending on Province, and the few orders that have shipped out with International shipping rates are off the chart, they have it pretty bad!, just shipping charges alone, $900+USD to Germany, $600+USD to England, and $800+USD to Norway, I just shipped one going to Australia, but the buyer has other cargo going via sea container, but just his California sea port destination was $340... If only a console is required, I'll include free shipping/boxing to the US48 in the $125 item price... Canada/International will require a quote however for shipping. I do require a $60, or $100 boxing/packing cost for a headliner, to cover materials used, all packing materials are new, $60 boxing is: foam edging, foam sheeting and a cardboard box, $100 boxing is: foam edging, foam sheeting, packed in a wooden box, packed inside a cardboard box (the outer cardboard box removes the additional shipping/handling surcharge added by the shipper for a raw wood shipping container/box) Thanks for your interest, Mike

one of the main reasons I started to offer the consoles, was having customers or myself deal with original consoles that were warped/misshapen because of long term improper storage, or being attached to original fiberboard headliners that had sagged/misshapen over the years/decades causing the consoles to alter their profile, or just being so fragile they disintegrate from being handled while refurbishing them, I have approx a half dozen original consoles, that appear in excellent condition, yet when their side profiles are compared to one another they all vary in shape/profile, making their fitment to a new/repro headliner involving some form of reshaping so that the console to headliner fit is uniform in appearance... So I generally recommend a console if you know yours is badly misshapen, disintegrated,or you don't wish to rework it, or just wish to upgrade from the fiberboard/pressed cardboard to a fiberglass based repro. Are these out of production?
Phil Just waiting on the weather here in New England, Fiberglass/gel coat lay ups are sensitive to weather swings, while we've had a few nice days, the cold nights and rainy days have put a damper on making these, I plan on making my usual run of about 1/2 dozen of each, contact me by Moparts PM so I can contact you when I start production Mike
