We purchased a 73 Challenger today! It's a very solid 318 auto car that apparently came from California as its body is more solid than the `Cuda. We'll be able to study a Chally now and further develop an ABS plastic front spoiler as well as figure out how to stuff 18x10.5" wheels on all four corners to in order to possibly run a 315 square setup.
Sadly the car will be put up for sale after we get the data we need from it, as it is not the 1970 Barracuda with a 318 that we are really looking to base our next project car on. Unless someone begs us to build another roll caged track monster out of it, hopefully it goes to a good home in the future.
The sheet metal on this Chally is surprisingly much thicker than the metal in the `Cuda. Other than the driver fender damage and some dents on the roof, the chassis is put together well. I'll make a YouTube video on the solid Chally vs. the `Cuda which has a bunch of rust holes haha!
Stay tuned!
