Are you sure about the wooden spacers? That doesn't seem like some thing the factory would do. Turns out you're partially right. Utelines had no wooden spacers. Only the Sweptline beds had them. I got the new rubber mount kits from Easy Street LLC & they are all rubber ones for the Uteline. Looked under my 71 Swepty W100 & it has wood spacers.

To the best of my knowledge, the Utiline beds had a combination of wood (at frame mount points and at cross members) and rubber mounts. The sweptline beds used wood blocks only.

I think you're 100% right & the only wood mounting blocks needed for Utelines is for the step mounting setup, & I just discovered Dodge Connection sell the one I need.
