I found some numbers on the front face of my k frame where the flat support is in the center of the k frame. Is this the date code? If so, how do you read it?

I can’t seem to get the pic to post from my phone. Numbers are 548 2.

If this is your '69 K-frame and your car's scheduled production date was in late '68 then there may be a missing leading number. The first three numbers are the day of the year and the fourth (4th) is the year as in 1968. Here's the details of a '69 A12 K-Frame with date code.....sometimes the stampings are difficult to read. Interesting to know your Scheduled Production Date (SPD) as we have found the date code on the K-Frame on the '68/'69 B-bodies to be the closest date to the SPD.

there should be another stamped digit at the beginning; 0, 1, 2, 3
