Automatic w/8-3/4" rear end = 3.23 if no axle code (D-codes I believe) - could be 3.55 (track pack) - could be 4.10 (track pack) - note: 3.91 was also available, but I "think" that was only for 383 4spd cars. 4-spd w/Dana = 3.54 with no code (or might always have a track pack code with a dana???) - Super track pack code = 4.10 Don't throw rocks at me if I missed something. Not throwing anything so don't duck. My first e body that I bought in the early 70's was a basic 1970 340 4sp Cuda. It only had body color steel wheels with bottlecaps, e60-15 tires and vinyl top. It came with 8 3/4 rear with 3.91 gears and shuregrip. 3.91 must have been one of the few options on this car. In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
