The ones I have are just OK and have some pitting.

Has anyone had theirs replated? They area potmetal. If so, where at? Approx. cost?

Has anyone tried the reproduction ones yet? How is their fit and quality?

What is a nice original set worth?

THANKS for any input.

Over the years I've had a couple sets plated. NONE were very good / good enough for my tastes.

Ive heard the repos , are ok. but far from ideal. But have not seen them in person to say for sure

NICE used ones will still get really good money. I would plan on $1000 for a REALLY nice set. By that I mean NO Pits and only detail painted at the most.

I had a NOS right side and a mint used left I sold maybe 8 - 9 years ago or so.
Best I remember I got close to $1500 then. $2000 for an nos finish panel

Back then NOS right side wasn't to terrible to find. Now I don't know. But a Left NOS is near impossible to locate, then or now

I got lucky and found a NOS pair about 2 years ago for about $450

There are 2 places that I know of that do great jobs restoring them

http://www.totallyautoinc.com/ not sure of the cost but I saw a pair and they looked great.

I have seen their work and the bezels look better then new. $1,800

I would not go anyplace else other then those 2 venders

no318, I have a nice set with no pitting. I bought them years ago for a GTX I wound up selling rather than restoring. If interested, PM me and I'll dig them out. They've been in storage for 13+ yrs. It may take me awhile to find them.

you stole those.

I paid $150 for the right ( late 80s ) and $450 for the left and that was I think early -mid 90s time frame
