justintyme OP member J Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 53 Fort Collins, CO	I seem to recall there was someone makeing a better quality sealing ring for the Fuel tank sending unit than the one that comes with the replacement tanks. But I cant remember who?? having a heck of a time getting my 69 Roadrunner to seal around the sending unit of my new tank Thanks!!

I buy a Quanta brand seal and lock ring to replace the repop tank's pieces..I don't even try to use those thin gauge lock rings for just the reason you're looking to make the change...If all else fails a good original piece will do the job...I won't even comment on the poor quality expanding seal...
