here is what a year and a half in Arizona has done to my rubber bushings...that is why i am asking if the above bushings will fit

it's just a shame there doesn't seem to be any quality rubber suspension items any more, including [supposedly best in quality] moog.

SS springs are basically A body springs.I have polys in mine on my B body Been years since I ordered them.Rocky

Poly bushings (Firm Feel) have held up well for me on a hard driven E. I have never used Energy Suspension parts so I don't know. In general I believe poly holds up better over time vs currently available rubber parts.

A couple yrs ago Big Bad Bee was swapping out the rubber SS spring bushings for an aftermarket set. As I recall, he carved up & pressed out the existing rubber. The aftermarket bushings didn't fit right away. He found a metal collar inside the big eye of the leaf spring. Once he pressed out the collar, the aftermarket bushings went right in.

You'll have to ask him (Lindy) what brand of aftermarket bushings he used & if he is happy with the feel of the suspension.

The rear shackle bushing on SS spring eyelet require a (7/8 o.d. x 1/2 i.d.) bushing. A-body shackles bolts / shank are .50" and are compatible. I believe B/E use the slightly larger, .5625" or 9/16" shank bolt x 1.0" o.d. bushing. I ran into this issue when I installed SS spring on my E-body.

The kit listed most likely will have the same incompatibility with four of the rear shackle eyelet bushings. Not sure about the large front bushing.

Not all Super Stock springs have A body size bushings.

Check with ESPO first...
