I'm trying to determine for a customer if the quarter glass from my 69 Polara 500 2 door will work on his 69 Polara vert.



My gut instinct says it will not, and I don't want to waste his money. I know that A and E body quarter glass is different between the vert and the hardtop, but I have only limited knowledge about C bodies.

What he actually needs is the chrome frame between the front door glass and the quarter glass which is riveted to the quarter glass mechanism. If the glass is not the same, would it be possible to install the vert glass in the 2 door frame mechanism from the Polara?

i have a 69 sport fury convert and a 69 sp hardtop i put the hardtop door on my convert cause it was a better door and you could almost put all your finger in the gap at the corner theconvertable glass is more squared off then the hardtop glass
