I am looking at an 1150 cfm 4150 based carb built by Rupert Carbs. Does anyone have any insight on these carbs? Reputable? Are they built for an engine specifically? I don't want to pick it up and then have to shell out what I paid for it to have him "fix" it with proprietary parts. Thanks in advance.

Rupart uses normal parts, modified stock metering blocks. They do tend to be on the rich side, use a lot of fuel, and usually needs a leanout valve to build heat.
