Oh
Last year I took a chance at not replacing valve cover gaskets when R&Ring my valve covers and have a leak.

I'd like to run the valves while I have the valve covers off to replace the gaskets.

I know some of you back valves off before Winter so; what do you do when Spring comes and you need to adjust your valves?

My concern is that the thing has not been run in almost 6 months so; is there enough oil film left to safely turn the motor over as needed without an adverse effects on bearings?

Do you guys prime your motors before this process or just adjust them and call it a day?

when I have done this I pull the plugs and crank it over by hand with a wrench or pull the plugs and bump it with a remote in case you are running a drive mandrel on your harmonic balancer.
