New world aluminum block 440 plan on running VR1 20/50 oil but want to seat the rings asap solid roller cam 900lbs+ open hellfire rings need to know if i should use any additive to help seat them quickly or should i use another oil for breakin... thanks

We used Gibb's break in oil on our last break in,it was mainly due to the flat tappet issues,But they claim it helps seat the rings also.I'm not a dealer in it,just what we used.Maybe go to their website and read what they say.

Find yourself some Brad Penn 30W break in oil or some Joe Gibbs break in....then go back to your VR1.

Thanks guys found some brad penn breakin oil instock around my way hope to have this baby running by the weekend.. (should i run brad penn 20/50 or VR1 20?50 after breaking her in) I can get either locally.. thanks again
