M&H Racemaster has a new behemoth 390/45R15 drag radial
i ran them the first year the car was done... they just don't fill the wheel well the way i'd like, as they are an inch or so shorter.

Are you sure the MT 315/60 won't work? Mine are 315/60's and are 30 inches tall and 12.5 tread with 14.5 section width.

Hey Josh! Some pictures would be great. Thanks,Tom! Quote:
I have 29x12.50x15's(29" tall 13" section) on my charger with a 15x10 rim. I have 4.75" back space, I would almost be better off with a 4.5" back space. I just ordered a set of M/T et streets in 325/50/15. (28" tall 13" section) I can take some pics now or I can post some of the new tires.

Hi Guys!
Need your help on this subject. I have a1969 Dodge Superbee, with 500" motor 550hp, and 4 speed. 1st and 2nd gear are useless as I cannot keep it on the ground - TRACTION! It has a 8-3/4 rearend with 3.91 gears and super stock springs in stock location.
What is the largest street/drag radial I can put in the wheel wells? I have 15x8 wheels and could go to 15x10 if necessary. What backspacing should I go with. The 15x8's have 4" backspacing.
I am not able to go trial and error, obviously because of the cost. Mount them you buy them.
So, I am going to you guys for help
Thanks, Tom!
Hi Tom, here is a pic of my 68 Charger : SS springs, 15x8 Prostars/4in backspace and 295/65 Drag radials. Clearance is good, both sides.

I have 29x12.50 mickey sportsmans on it currently. The pros were much stickier. I am hoping to put 30x12.50 et streets under it with a little modification.
Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural
