I don't think you could get a car without heat/defrost, in 1972, by law. Exception might be a car going to hawaii, or puerto rico.

. Radio delete is far more common but rare as well, thanks for the responce guys. While a high percentage of cars were equipped with one, Radios were always optional and additional cost. You cannot “delete” an option.

There was a heater delete option available after 1968 as a dealer installed pkg. I saw a A12 RR that had one. A car with heater delete will have special vent boxes under the dash instead of the regular heater box. I have a '67 Belvedere II, heater delete (and radio option not selected ). I also have a '68 V200, no radio I love stripper Mopars.
