Let me start by saying I had the motor 100% done and it was in a flood. Only one bank.
Was pulled down, and needs 1 sleeve one side. Other just honed.
340 race block, bored 4.100 4” steel crank, internal balanced. All the right things were done. Diamond custom made pistons came out to 10.88 compression. Speed Pro file fits. So close to what I wanted.
Head is Edlebrock, closed chamber. 202 /160 mild port, on intake and exhaust As well as bowls. The killer is the six-pack intake but that was also pro ported,
3 angle valve job and springs yadda-yadda. Done right. Springs were for my cam.
Also wanted to be able to run 340 Hp manifolds if need be.
The cam is no more, It was an Engle solid
560/570 lift running duration 275/284
245/252 @.50 ground on 110.
Should I just have the same cam ground again> or do something else? Or close?
As I have 391 gears and converter built for it. The plan was a nice street motor that could do a little strip
I do have a six pack NOS set up the {cheeter system for the six-pack} So rngs were fitted incase I wanted to use it.
