I am making a new floor and firewall for my 1949 Wayfarer, and need a photo of someones clutch pedal linkage setup so I know how much room I need around the engine and bell. I have a 383, 833 and a scattershield. Already had to move the engine back so it fits, but don't know how close I can put the floor around the scattershield. I think I'm going with a hydraulic clutch, might be easier than setting up a z-bar. Thanks, Andy

I might be able top find some pics for you. However, some reading I was doing recently said the S-10 hydraulic clutch setup is very simple to put in most rods, and is a perfect choice for the DIY'er, and a low buck readily available part to boot. A good choice to look into if you're leaning towards hydraulic anyhow.

I'm hoping to find a setup like that, something other than an expensive aftermarket one. I thought I heard you could use one out of a Dodge truck?

check this on Big Block Dart

and I dont know how well it would work but I have ones here from a 87 Dakota that looks like it could be adapted.
I haven't seen the S10 setup yet Ron...

you can install a hyd set up very easy, speed way has puller type slave cylinders,or you can use a pedal set up out of a stick shift dakota, use the entire pedal assemble, use the factory master for that set up and a pusher type slave cyl,,very easy if you get a dakota pedal assemble,,when you see it you wil see what im talking about
