I'm waiting for B/E trans. Not sure if the A-body transmissions are rolling out. Not aware of any other manual transmission that will work as well as the 855. Not interested in cutting up another car to fit a substandard trans. To each their own. I'm willing to wait.
I agree. It will be worth the wait! I'd rather have one of these instead of the T56, although I've never personally owned a 6 speed, but have driven them many times.

I understand the whole "100% made in america" deal, but these US suppliers seems to be hurting business.
It may behoov Jamie to just outsource some of the parts having issues. If 440Source can make quality parts overseas, and have them finished/inspected locally, Jamie can do the same and he can maybe ship 100 units a month, rather than 100/yr.

Hello Topless the adults on this thread are again requesting that you to stop trolling the thread. You have been asked before to stop your trolling, apparently your attention span is short.
This is a monumental -expensive undertaking and you need to stop being disrespectful and rude. While there are stronger words that should be expressed to you - i will leave it at that.
Transmissions are shipping per my last conversation last week with Jamie. As usual quality goes in before the name goes on the product. I don't need your permission to reply to the thread. It deff not. Pat me on the back or leave deal And my statement was just wow... I have never said one single bad thing about the product(he'll I'd love to have one)...

That is what I been saying all along. Nothen else. Have a few of his most trusted friends do a very small assembly line. To knock a few out. I'm sure there is more then a few on this site that that is more then qualified to help..get caught up(somewhat)

Anyone see this yet? John Huff: "We have a few B body 5 speeds available for sale. $5295.00 each. We are testing more as I post this. If you are on "the list" get hold of me. These are true bolt in units, 18 spline input and the included shifter uses a bolt on handle. Your speedo gear and factory driveshaft works too. Uses stock crossmember." https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=...e=3&theaterLooks like things are finally happening. "John Huff For clarification purposes Jamie Passon helped design this transmission. I invested in the project because it seemed I would never get a transmission if I didn't which is true. So after cashing out my IRA, I also ended up working with vendors to produce parts. I worked with Garrett Fuss Inc. to make this project move forward. I then built crates to ship them and road tested every transmission before shipping. This has been a hard project and those of you who know the whole story understand. It has taken years to get to where we are shipping these out on a regular basis."

I knew this would find its way here..... This is a huge mess from what I gather!!! I read about it on Facebook last night and was wondering when it would show up on this thread. I think this was the same guy that was selling these transmissions at Mopars at the Strip. He had 3 units for $5295. You take them right then and there. No shipping.

I too was waiting to see if someone posted this up here, when reading it yesterday. Figured I'd pass it along here since it hadn't happened.
I truly hope this is not causing a mess for Jamie, but am glad to see units now available as it appears.

Dilbert- with what you have stated, are we saying that these units offered by John contain cases or other components which did not meet Jamie's rigorous QC inspection?
