Man I was called about 3 months ago by a young lady asking if I was still interested in this transmission...I absolutely said yes (even though I had no idea how I was going to pay for it at the time). Now I have the money saved and am ready! Hope I get a call soon because it's either this transmission or body work... But I'd rather have this 5 speed! LOL

How many orders moved on or were lost because of that timeframe?
I personally know of 2 people that called and was wanting a granny and both told me that on the phone were told there is a 6 month back order. Neither of the 2 guys know of each other......why would they be told that??
I'm a firm believer that if a hand full of select guys he trusted 1 day a month would went a very long ways into getting a killer product into buyer hands

I got my call today! I would be more excited if my car was ready. I can always make vroom vroom noises as I shift through the gears in my living room. 7 years in the making, and I was concerned my Charger would be waiting for the trans, lol.

Well, I got a phone call from Jamie yesterday morning...A lot has happened in those 5 months that have passed, I'm in the middle of building a shop, and spent the money on my concrete slab!! haha. What a trip.

I have a few days to decide, or I get passed up. I have to let Jamie know either way, very soon...

Maybe I'll get an interest free credit card good for a year and pay it off in the spring of '18. no harm no foul.

Seems as though the guys with A Bodies or the B body with the shifter in the forward position are getting theirs now. I am still patiently waiting for my 71 bucket seat B Body version to become available. As someone stated, it's been at least 5-6 years or more since I put my name on the handwritten list at the Nats.

Yes, it's good to see that Passon is finally getting the five speeds out in a reasonable quantity. My good buddy just showed me his new 5 speed and it looks really good. He should complete the final touches on his Roadrunner and be driving it by the end of the month. I'm looking forward to a ride and actually seeing how the A855 performs. He tells me he can't get on it for around 700 miles though. I think he told me he was number 326 or something like that on the infamous list.

I've beem waiting for the B/E body trans. Hopefully get another call soon. I believe it will be worth the wait and have been in sporadic contact with Passon. Under the impression the last hurdle was core shift in the casting for the tailshaft housing. My Charger has a Tremec and I would not go that route again

Got mine friday! kinda disappoited I did not get the cool shipping cage.I got the OSB box and go to watch FedEx driver Drag ti down the steps and out the door of his truck on to the snow coverd asphalt drive busting the box a little . Grrrrr!! Nothing hurt inside OSB box but it did pop all 2x4 braces loose by poping screws through the 1/4" OSB. hope no one has to witness any more of the FedEX abuse cause the crate wont take a 18" drop, nor should it.

You got yours Friday, Well I got mine Friday! Jamie is definitely getting these out! I helped my FedEx guy unload it. No way can I carry this box by myself! It's very exciting!

If putting the trans in osb rather than steel cage means getting them out sooner, then all the better. Plus don't have to worry about shipping it back
