I was able to scrounge up an old Holley 4367, which is the correct factory carb for my 70 383 Cuda with manual trans. These carbs are 4160 models, but unlike the current 4150/4160 Holley carbs, they have different sized primary and secondary throttle bores. The primaries are 1-9/16" and the secondaries are 1-3/4".

At the moment, I'm trying to find a rebuild kit to freshen this one up. However, I'm not having much luck. Holley's website doesn't recognize the 4367 list number. I've found a few places online that reference use of a Holley 3-337 kit for this carb; however, that kit no longer seems to be available.

Anybody here have some experience rebuilding these old factory carbs, and if so, what are you using for parts? I was thinking that a current rebuild kit for a 600 cfm 4160 might have most of the parts I need, but the carb gasket and throttle body gasket would need to be modified for the larger secondary throttle blades. shruggy

Thank you

allcarb.com - aka Allstate Carb - should have everything you need, and at really good prices.

I have to give kudos to Holley, I submitted a message through their tech line yesterday and I got an email back this morning (Saturday). Here is the response:

"Thank you for contacting Holley tech service. Unfortunately I do not have a rebuild kit for that carb. You will need to contact Daytona Parts for that kit. Their phone number is 836-427-7108.
Thank you,"

I've checked out the Daytona Parts website and they do list a rebuild kit for this carb (Kit # 430). They don't list prices on their website, so I'll have to check back with them on Monday. I'll report back with my findings later, in case anyone else is in a similar boat.

Thanks for the replies. up

Daytona's not cheap, but the rebuild kit I got for my AVS was top notch. I also got new brass floats from them that looked and fit like they should.
