I have a very good friend who picked his up on Saturday. He sold his Hellcat as well so plan to check it out soon. I have not kept up on any of this at all, was just asking. All I saw were the ads for them. They run well for sure, amazingly well. Old cars have nothing on ANY of this new stuff

It was mainly the butt hurt Ford guys.

I can see the reason for FCA shipping the car with 2 ECUs. How many joy riders are going to take the car for a spin before it's delivered to the customer?

Shipping it with 2 gallons of race fuel likely wouldn't last long. Then the next joyriding bone head throws some 87 octane it in and blows it up.

So for liability's sake, the car ships with an ECU that's tuned for pump gas.

Hellcats modified are bumping into the 8,s. The Demon modified will as well..

But, as advertised "Stock/Turn key" will they ever run the 9.65 number for anybody?? For 98% of the buyers, not even close.


Now , we will start to see Modified versions of the Demon, coming closer to the number and then surpass it.

Rons car race gas, and stickier tires.

It's OK, not everyone can handle the Bullet. Stay soft.

No Doubt, but modified from the advertised 9.65. Stock, you cant toss your keys to your buddy and have him run a easy 9.99 More like 10.20,s to 10,40s as already shown and tested.


And now, the modifications begin. I'm only disappointed in the failure of the original lengthy advertising, not the car.

Easy big wheel, not meant as an insult to the Mopar guys on the Bullet but an absolute compliment, they should be that guy yelling as loud as they can.

BTW, who's the soft one here? You think someone is disparaging to the guys on the Bullet and you have to ride in on your winged unicorn to defend them? Stay soft lolz

The cars are made for 100 octane plus, they come with a 2nd ECU specifically for race gas, they come with race gas in the tank from the factory. They also come with drag radials stock, he used a different brand for whatever reason, maybe he's saving the original tires as they're unique, maybe he's already burnt them up, whatever, they're still drag radials which the car comes stock with. Again, all these things are from the factory STOCK.

BTW, toss the keys to any old 9 second Mopar to your inexperienced buddy and do you think they'll run a 9? Probably not, and probably have a bigger e.t. deficit than a Demon. You have to work at it to learn the car, not the cars fault a brainless asshat cant jump in the car and on the first hit run the number, no car works like that

You also have to factor in that a Challenger is an absolute beeotch to launch anyway.
