hello working on a 62 330h 413 with 2 4barrel carbs,,,trying to
set up the choke on it,,theres no heat tube and choke plate is flat...found one pic from mancini shows heat tube going from plastic choke plate with a hole in it to exhaust manifold but theres no hole on right exhaust manifold..this car has 58000 miles on it,,,any other input would be appreciated,,thanks in advance ...https://youtu.be/J6mqcVrV9tk?t=51

Here's a picture of the choke setup on my father's 58 Fury. I don't know if all 2-4's of the era had the same setup or not. I don't have a real good detail down by the manifold. There is a triangular boss on the top which has a small tube sticking out towards the rear of the car.

Here's a little better shot of down by the manifold.

That's a 383, is it a friend of yours, I'm wondering if it's an old police car. It's been said that very few 383/343 cars were made and that they were mostly cop cars or dealer installed.

Looks like the tube went behind the valve cover instead of over the top.

never noticed a black fuel filter before. is there a source for the decal so one could paint a commonly available wix filter and add the decal ?

John, that was dependent on the application, there were variances in the heater/blower housing interference that made the difference.

300E and 300H (the subject) difference? A/C box is definitely different.

thanks for input..just looked on block and it is a S383...im guessing choke was different on 383 but i dont see anywhere where a heat tube would go...not on manifold either the carbs are 3259s and 3258s,,i wanted to put the choke because it wont come off fast idle...
