Are there any resources on production numbers for 67 GTX's that break down things like how many were built a certain color, etc.? I'm just curious in regard to the 67 GTX I recently picked up.

A fair amount of the original factory data on 67 Plymouths was lost in a fire long ago, so unfortunately there are no really good records concerning break downs like you are seeking. There are people who keep track of what exists now and I can tell you, the numbers are small. Due to so many possible option combos nearly all of them are "One of One". How is yours equipped?

Here are some generally correct numbers. These should be considered "close"- there are probably some variances.

1967 Plymouth GTX Production Numbers

RS23-7- 1967 GTX 2 Door Hard Top 12,010
RS27-7- 1967 GTX Convertible 680

440 4 Barrel
RS2 L7- 1967 GTX 440-4 11,277
RS2 L7- 1967 GTX 4-Speed 2,486
RS2 L7- 1967 GTX Auto 8,791

426 HEMI
RS2 J7- 1967 GTX 426 HEMI 733
RS2 J7- 1967 GTX 4-Speed 312
RS2 J7 1967 GTX Automatic 408

Total = Total Production U.S.A., Canada, and Export Orders

I imagine it's nothing special. It is black on black with an automatic, manual steering and brakes. The one thing I thought was kind of unusual though (but maybe not) is that it has a column shift with bucket seats and a buddy seat.

Black is popular/good looking combo. I think I saw that one advertised.

Chrysler's Option & Accessory Reports didn't track colors until the '70 model year

the 1967 Plymouth B-body Option & Accessory Report is based on 137,408 units shipped domestically (as of August 1967) out of a total ~152,497 manufactured (the unaccounted for ~15,089 units *all price class/all models* were US, CANADA & EXPORT spec. cars)

GTX (based on the 12,010 number) RS23 & RS27 with:
440HP & automatic transmission STANDARD ~ 73.2%
manual steering STANDARD ~ 41.7%
manual brakes STANDARD ~ 67.4%
bucket seats STANDARD ~ 100.0%
C.A.R. (center-arm-rest) $52.85 ~ 12.1%

FYI
no console/no C.A.R. STANDARD ~ 19.0%
console $52.85 ~ 68.9%
