3 speed / 4 speed z- bar mount. That's what I thought it may be. Do the welds look factory or like it was added ?

an e-body floor looks like this ![scope scope](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/scope.gif) column shift automatic = no changes floor shift automatic with console (ALL of them) adds a shifter, a couple console brackets & a hole for the linkage to pass thru manual transmission requires a large hole cut in the floor ![sawzall sawzall](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/sawzall.gif) covered by a HUMP (shown below) w/console adds a couple brackets all manual transmission (3 & 4-speed) e-bodies are floor mounted & use the same HUMP

Do the welds look factory or like it was added ? It looks like most of your factory welds in the area around it are long gone, so would it matter? HUH? Factory welds long gone? Really? They look good to me. Consistent with the 20 or so 4 speed ebodies I've "ACTUALLY" put my hands on over the years.

Pretty easy to tell "if" you've actually worked on a car.
