Have a beer and chill yo..... I did read your post... One guy wears his hat without a bent brim and pulls his socks up. Another has a long goatee. What's gang banger about that? Then the rest of the guys, daddy dave, farm truck, doc, monza etc.... all part of the cast, thugs too? Like I said I get your trying to stir the pot or maybe just get the post locked... but still don't get your logic of saying how these people are thugs or whatever. In the real world, there's millions of people who aren't thugs that dress and act like these guys.

Even 40 years ago we were smarter than that. Someone would pull behind us and beep his horn 3 times 40 years ago, top fuel funny cars were running just a few mph faster then some of those cars are running now. That fireball Camaro has been 3.80s in the 1/8 @208. Those cars are EXTREMELY loud. It would probably take a train horn to be heard in the car. Maybe that’s the true difference between street cars and cars pretending to be street cars. Lol. Pretending to be street cars? When did they ever claim to be street cars? They race on the street. "Street" Outlaws. You figure after 10 seasons, some people would be able to grasp the concept. I guess not.

Rich was a tool at 1st. Then turned into a top notch host. It's wild to see the difference in personalitys from 1st year OKC to new shows.
Rich admitted after the show ended that it was his ego that ended up causing the show to fail. That said, in the later seasons he was vastly out-tooled by the radio host they brought in to make things "better". That guy added nothing...

Dude, like or not they are race cars. No mufflers, no Bueno. Simple as that. Um, where did I say they were not race cars? People are hung up on the "street" part of it, which is the premise of the ENTIRE show. They race on the street. That's why Chief says in the into "street raced cars". Not street cars. Seems everyone wants to find a reason to dislike the show. Whether it be how they act, how they wear their hats, where they race, what terminology they use to that isn't acceptable to the short-sighted. Reminds me of a bunch of women at the salon with their hair in curlers gossiping. They are doing what they love, and if the show ended, they would go back to doing it illegally. Good on them for making a living doing something they enjoy.

I always enjoy the show, they are full tilt race cars that race on streets, they are not trying to be street cars. All the different characters make it interesting too. There are alot of car shows on tv these days, but Street Outlaws is the only one that all my co-workers talk about on a daily basis and they are not car guys. When we have family parties at our house, everyone is talking about it no matter how young or old they are. When we go out with friends on the weekend the SO subject is always brought up and they are not car people. It's nice to talk cars and it blows my mind how many people are interested now, along with the fact that all of our local tracks seen to be full of cars these days. I love it.

I find it funny that you actually take this personally. I will stop. Promise It’s all good enjoy your show I'm still trying to understand your logic of thinking they are gangster thugs or whatever... Nothing you say about them effects me personally in anyway. I watch the show, I don't act/dress etc like them, I don't street race. It's entertainment, just like people making fools of them self wanting to talk about how they dress.

Let it go guys, let it go. If you don’t like the show please don’t even click on the post. There are plenty of other interesting post out there.

There are a couple people at work I talk about it with pretty regularly. I've talked to people that really don't know much about the cars, or the racing itself, but enjoy the personalities.
