These are already available at YearOne. I bought a set for my Cuda convertible in white. Very nice part.

That's exactly what I put in my convertible, junk, I found a decent set and had the front and rears covered by Just dashes. Not exactly correct, however, the best option on the planet. My Year One panels went in the trash also. There isn't a decent available reproduction on earth that you can't tell from a mile away, period. At least not yet.

Didn't Metro make the front door panels a few years ago that were dead on to the originals?

THere were front and rear sets for the hardtops, but I think it was a one time deal, and haven't returned. Not a one time deal, panels are still being reproduced in black and white from the same manufacturer, colors are now extremely rare. "If" the convertible rears are made, they will be made by the same manufacturer. We are waiting on updated tooling and per piece pricing right now.

"If" they get made and "if" we get the reproduction vert rears as good as the hard tops, guys will be scrambling to sell marginal originals. Really nice originals will always have some value, it won't be as much as they were in the past. Look what happened to the value of really nice original 70 & 71 Cuda grilles.

I sold several 71 Cuda grills back in the day and got 2500 and up for ones needing some minor work.

I've used a few sets of the Palco convertible rear panels. Didn't have a choice. We had Y-1 cover some panels years ago and though they looked good We just were not that impressed. I have also used several of the Metro front panels and a few rears. Mostly Cuda and a couple Challengers. Though much better than any other repros they still don't fit quite as nice as originals. Still tight on the front nose and all the Cuda ones I've had to space the door handle out so it doesn't rub and hang up on the panel. Here are some pics of the Palco rears and Metro fronts. Of course the Palcos need to be painted the correct white.

I put them in all x5 of my Cuda's, I didn't have that problem and that was way before I got involved and I'm the first to [censored]. In reference to the Challenger door panels, I did have to take plastic out of the upper front and lower rear corners on my T/A to get them to fit perfect. If you look at original panels, how many are split in the upper front corner because they were to tight? More so on Challengers than Cuda's.
