I believe the Arrow deserves thee recognition because, as far as I know, with the Arrow he did the most, with the least in the shortest amount of time!
Didn't he run a Monza for a very short time? He ran the Monza for one season (or maybe less) as I recall in protest of unfair weight breaks to his ford engines. And beat the Chevy's at their own game. he could make anything run very, very well.

He built a Monza and used it (I believe) for one race to take advantage of the Weight break (and to prove a point to the NHRA).
The Car was sold to John Lingenfelter who I remember made a very successful Comp elimiator car out of it.
The Mustang II he only raced for a short time as well, there's only a few pics of it out there I think.
The Arrow was my favorite.....was only a 1 year deal before Iacocca declared bancrupcy in 1980.
Second Favorite was the 70 Mustang he built for the 105" WB Weight break

Didn't he run a Monza for a very short time? When he has the first fairmont, he had no major sponsor, and no factory backing, and was undefeated in that car. He switched to Chrysler and the arrow, because they gave him a truckload of parts, and full factory backing.

I thought he raced with Mopar sponsorship for 2 or 3 years,(1977 to mid 1980) not one Just one season. Then Chrysler went bankrupt and pulled the plug.

I heard the Arrow was here in FL. Maybe Locomotion knows more. The Monza ran 1 race and was a DNQ. My favorite, the EXP.

There is a discussion here that indicates Paul Gentilozzi bought Glidden's Arrow. I don't know if it was ever in Florida or where it's at now. http://classracer.com/classforum/showthread.php?t=43889&page=4Spiff. I guess it boils down to opinions. I agree that Glidden's accomplishments were amazing considering a lack of major sponsors. But he had been developing his Ford combo for a long time. I felt that it's at least as amazing that he developed a dominant combo from one that no one could before. Don Carlton/Ted Spehar tried in the mid-'70's without success. There was an interesting article in a magazine on some of what he did do with the Arrow.
