I'm rebuilding my 68 b-body steering column, column shift car, converting power to manual steering. Where is the cheapest/best place I can get the lower and upper bearings from? I saw year one had them but 90 something bucks for the lower bearing, thats kinda ridiculous! Also, does anyone know where I can get just the gear indicator pointer? Mine is missing and I'd like to replace it. Thanks for your help!

I might be interested in a manual column, but I'd still have to replace the bearings and rebuild it just because I want to. So it's just another cost to add to the list. I would like to get a manual shaft so I don't have to add/make an adapter for the manual steering box. If you have a column and want to sell it PM me and we'll talk. Thanks. Anyone else?

I am kind of curious. Seems like I remember my 69 Parts Book stating that the upper bearing and lower bearing for the automatic column are the same part number? Or maybe the same between both the A and B body columns, but not the tilt or scopic columns?

regards,
