Was the oil pressure sender in place on a hemi engine when painted at the factory? Or should it be left gold cad?

Good question, there was also a heat shield for the sending unit, would that be painted also?

Not sure on a Hemi, but I had a 440 years ago that one orange overspray on it, and I know the engine had never been rebuilt.
