it doesn,t leak. ran the 470 for about a half hour , no leaks! heading out to dinner now, details to follow.

Cool! Glad to here somebodys don't. I noticed the other day I have a few drips under mine. I can live with it. could be worse.

identified some issues with the seals. the non fel-pro seals I was using had a small protrusion adjacent to the seal area. I called the company involved and talked to a tech guy, sent him some pictures . haven't heard back yet. also the billet retainer I used had a couple contac points with the #5 cap. also milled some clearance for the main stud nuts and milled a relief channel for the oil to escape. the stock retainer has lots of clearance to all the cap and such, the billet retainers are flat and tight to the main. having said all that I cant pinpoint where the problem was or what the actual fix is. also the #5 studs need shortened, they will hold the windage tray up a slight amount. picked up the whole tab also.
