So, i'm getting ready to put my 440 together and am confused on which main bearings to get. Mancini Racing has narrow groove and wide groove bearings. The wide groove ones costs twice as much. This is for a street car. I'm planning on using a high volume oil pump if that makes any difference? thanks.

Street car eh, Well I would use the narrow groove bearings without the HV pump, I am assuming you are going to use th stock oil pan. I would use the high press relief spring in a blueprinted pump & 1/2" pickup tube, radius the 90* internal passage and run it as is, run it hard

Full narrow groove will be fine for your application.

Wide groove's are typically used in Hemi's or full race applications.
