every information source i have found claims a different cc for the combustion chamber on the 452 casting. anything from 85cc to 95cc. is there just that much variation??? anybody cc'd a stock set??

that got me angry because everywhere on websites says 84 ( apparently meeting with NHRA specs ), and I did make calculations based on that!!!!

WOW!! better cc them when i pull them off. was just gunna go to a thinner head gasket but looks like i'm gunna be doing some milling. used 452 when i built to try and get the CR down. now i need to get it up since i can/will be running race fuel.

I was also just to put basically the metallick gasket, with KB240 pistons to my 400, but I was based on 84... now will have to mill more than I thought to get some close.

I just mesured one combustion chamber on one of the heads, I have 6 heads around. Maybe if I measure the rest would get some variationm between heads. As far I know they weren't plueprinted specs so I can get variety of measurements.

Factory posted NHRA blueprint specs have absolutely nothing to do with production reality on any Mopar engine ever.
