How are you guys wiring your switch on the shifter. I thought I had it correct and its stopped working. I am checking other things but just want to see how you all did yours.

I just use the stock 727 switch Yep! When I switched to a Glide I still use the 727 switch, sort of...

I guess I should have told you that I have rewired the car with an aftermarket Wire harness. Does this help to get some info.
Thank you Kiddart

I have an aftermarket wiring harness in my Allstate as well. I am using a relay in the starter circuit. I wired the ground side of the relay to run through the 727 switch to complete the circuit to a good ground. Omitting the switch in the shifter. Works for me. Mark

It did work, I started the car and all was good, shut car off and everything has power but the starter. I will play around with the adjustment tonight. I have it wired from the starter solenoid thru switch then to ground, just as mentioned above.
I hate electrical problems. T
Thanks so far.

Thank you RTSE4ME,
I have all that and did what they wanted, at least I thought. I am going to give it another try tonight.
