Looks similar to the one on my old '48 Studebaker. But it's been 50 years since I saw that.

4 bbl, 2bbl, 1bbl, ???? Any other markings/embossing other than "Front"

Inside the base it says 'OIL LEVEL U' - no other markings.

There is also residue from an old label on the outside of it.

The base would fit over a carburetor with a 2 1/4" outer diameter neck.

Looks like the cleaner from a 1950 Plymouth Suburban I once owned. Flathead 6cyl, 1bbl carb.

Looks Plymouth-ish from that era to me also. Probably from a low-line (Deluxe) model because the high-line (Special Deluxe) Plymouths had a larger air filter.
