Stock covers can be a problem since they tend to warp over time. Try the Superformance ones or maybe the thick black FelPro ones. I think the FelPros are #1612. Stock chrome RT covers.... Haven't had a problem, but doing some things to my car and thought I would change out the 10 year old gaskets...

Another for Mr gasket ultra seals.We run them on everything.Mine have been off a few times to set valves.We had them on BBs and SBs.My 440s have been on at least 5 years.Rocky

Superformance and nothing else....They work!
Nautilus Racing- We use Superformance gaskets and Turbo Action converters/products.
