Nice. I would just clear it and put it together like it is.

Nice. I would just clear it and put it together like it is. So it came from Georgia. Did you buy it in Georgia? Where is it now? Keep looking for one off and on so if you bought it here I guess I missed it unless it wasn't advertised locally. Tim

Fantastic find. I wouldn't even clear it. Find 3 more slotted rims, get it road worthy, enjoy.

Fantastic find. I wouldn't even clear it. Find 3 more slotted rims, get it road worthy, enjoy. I'm not going to clear it, I've never been a fan of that. It's going to be stored indoors & the old hand painted sign paint is 45 years old & holding up pretty good. Plan is to get a wide set of 4 either old cragars, old torq thrust or old aluminum slots. So it came from Georgia. Did you buy it in Georgia? Where is it now? Keep looking for one off and on so if you bought it here I guess I missed it unless it wasn't advertised locally. Tim I got it about 2 miles from my house here in central OK. I've been trying to get it for about a year. It was never listed for sale. I ended up dragging home the perfect parts truck for this 72 SWB. I bought a 72 LWB Adventure SE that's a running/driving truck less the bed. It's got a strong 360, AC, 727, 3.91 8.75", excellent dash / instrument cluster, nice rear slider & windshield, really nice grill & bumper. Drove it around town quite a bit yesterday after I checked it over & threw some trailer lights on. It runs strong & the trans shifts nice & firm. The vacuum doors for all the vents work & cycle thru each function. The compressor will kick on if you jumper it & its quiet so maybe just a flush & some freon will get it going, after it gets transferred to the SWB. Now to figure how to get the whole dash out as one piece to not disturb all the vacuum doors/hoses. Here are some pics of the parts truck: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYmFVZzHVSA/

Nice score on the parts truck. I know where an ext. cab long bed is sitting but I just can't get excited about it. Wonder how it wound up in Oklahoma? Probably those dang Street Outlaws. Best of luck with it. Tim

Probably need to remove the windshield to get the dash out. Looking forward to updates as progress continues.

I_bleed_MOPAR - My favorite truck so far and I have hundreds of pictures I've saved over the years. I've been asking you a bunch of questions about your suspension and wheels and tires on Facebook. I appreciate the patience. I'm waiting for my truck to be shipped, but ordering parts already lol.

Tim,
Any idea if the truck you mention is for sale? I am looking for a long bed for my Dad's old truck, and could use some other parts as well. I see you are in north Georgia. I live in Lawrenceville and would appreciate any leads.
Thanks,
Eric It's not too far from you in Carl, GA which is right next door to Auburn. Coming from Lawrenceville take Business U.S. 29 through Auburn (2 traffic lights in downtown Auburn). Next traffic light you come to after Auburn is in Carl. Turn left on Carl-Cedar Hill Rd. After crossing RR tracks right there, immediately on your right will be a driveway to a body shop or garage (I never paid much attention). You'll see the truck on the right side of driveway. Don't know actual condition as I haven't stopped to look at it. If you don't make it out there before, I'll pass by on my way home Saturday afternoon so I'll stop by and look it over and ask about it if they are open. P.S. I grew up in Gwinnett (Norcross-Lilburn area) and we raised our family there also. Moved to Cleveland in '12 but moved back to Winder area in '14. Tim
