What is your guyses experience with actual rocker ratio versus advertised.. I'm hearing with T&D .the ratio can be slightly higher than advertised.. has anyone experience this..

I've seen .030 max lift difference at the retainers with both T&D and Harland Sharp 1.5 and 1.6 ratio single shaft systems ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) Not the same results with a set of Jesel 1.55 paired shaft system The new owner at Harland sharp told me that they add some ratio to most of their sets to allow for deflection in the valve trains, which is usually mainly due to the cheaper pushrods is what I have found ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) I only buy the good ones now for all of my race motors

Most of what I use are the paired style TD rockers and I have checked them at the retainer and the paired ones were damn near dead on.. my cam was a little off but that was all.. I do use a single shaft set also that were a bit off.. thy showed 1.53 ![wave wave](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/wave.gif)

I know sometimes geometry and push rod deflection can play into the numbers.. I appreciate the feedback from everybody.. I'm making a rocker arm change and was trying to do some pre-planning

Cam has always been ground for a 1.8.. and have been running a 1.6. And I'm now going to step up to a 1.85. This change is going to require different Springs.. but I think I will hold off on the springs until I get the Rockers. When I ordered them they said 3 to 4 weeks., I anticipate having them in a couple weeks

I know cheap rockers say 1.5 or 1.6 but they really are 1.4

I know cheap rockers say 1.5 or 1.6 but they really are 1.4 I've checked a lot of different adjustable rocker arms, stock and after market ductile iron as well as aluminum, some have more ratio and some have less ![shruggy shruggy](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/shruggy.gif) The stock 426 Hemi rockers where the worst, I saw over .100 variance lift at the retainers It pays to check all of them ![up up](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/custom/thumbs_up.gif)

I know sometimes geometry and push rod deflection can play into the numbers.. I appreciate the feedback from everybody.. I'm making a rocker arm change and was trying to do some pre-planning If the geometry is not right, it doesn't matter what the max lift at the valve is. It won't be an accurate indicator of the true ratio of the rocker arm. For every degree of crankshaft rotation during the lift cycle, the cam is designed to move the rocker a specific amount. When the geometry is off, it doesn't follow the design of the cam lobe, and accurately relay that info to the valve. So what if it's dead nuts at full lift if it's losing everywhere else.

I have the Barton (T&D's) 1.6 rocker system on my 2ND Gen Hemi & they all seem to be spot on when we checked them all.
