The stock tach on my Rallye dash 440 Challenger reads too high, at least 1000 rpm, it seems to be just at the higher rpms.
The speedo seems pretty accurate..3.23 gears.
What could be wrong?

I've never seen a factory tach that didn't read high. What type of ignition are you running, anything but original makes it worse.

Consider upgrading the tach with modern electronics.

My in dash tach reads about 100 to 200 RPM more than it should be too.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use tachman,
By far the worst auto experience I've ever had!

RT engineering also has a modern tach board.
