Can anyone help me with these carbs. They were purchased new and never were installed. They are Carter competition series-625 carbs. One the side of the carb is L2 4758S and on the end is O-2916 with an X. The other end is marked with a 2 and an R in a circle and a C in a circle. The other carb has the same marking except the marking on the side is F3 4759S and the number on the end is 3. What can you tell me about these and their value. Thanks.

What's it worth questions belong in General.

The Carter 4758 and 4759 should be easy to find on the Web. Those are the identifying numbers.

That's a Union answer right there

A 4758 is a 500 cfm carb and the 4759 is a 625, both Comp Series of course, according to my Carter book.

Just wondering what you found. I found a company in Missouri that sells stuff for those carbs.

Looks like they were the prerunner to the 9626.

Do they have Mopar levers on them?

I don't think so after goggling them it looks like they are Chevy carbs. My sons friend bought them new and never installed them on anything.

You can get the lever adapter to use those on a Mopar, same as the Edelbrock.

A 9626 is your standard "Chrysler" 625 AFB. The CS4759 is the Competition series 625.
I have both, and a 9636 which is the same as 9626 but has Extra vacuum ports for EGR and stuff.
