I have a '76 Warlock that does not have a front sway bar and I would like to retrofit one. Does anyone know of a kit that is intended for a truck that did not have a bar previously?

I need to ensure whatever I buy includes the strut rods mounts, as I do not have those.

Not sure how the aftermarket ones mount but, the stock set up also has two plates that bolt in to mount the front of the bar. (number 4 in this pic)

I have a complete front swaybar setup that I would consider selling.

Addco 134 was recommended to me as a kit. Their instructions claim to include the strut rod clamps/bushings.

I can see your pic fine and it's exactly the swaybar system that's on these trucks, good pic up

NO! Don't get that one. Had one on my 1982 Ramcharger. Hated it. Strut rod brackets were always cocked and digging into the strut rods. Took it off and threw it away. Check the yards for a factory unit. I doubt they changed much from 72 to 93.

The diagram doesnt help me at a swap meet. How big is the #4 bracket? Does it mount above the strut rods in the one hole on the frame on each side?

Outstanding! I had no idea the bar clamped to the strut rods. I was looking for a way for it to attach to the lower control arms.
