What brand are you guys using ??

I was in a pinch ( need to get the car running ),,,and picked up a locking dipstick at the local speed shop...
brand is ALLSTAR ??

No luck,,,fit is terrible,,,does not line up at all with the bellhousing OMG.....whoever welded the mounting tab on this stick needs some new glasses.....

I usually use CRT,,,but needed something in a hurry,,,

What other brands do you guys like ??

Will call John @ CRT after the holiday's,,,arrrgghhhh

BB and SB mounting tabs are different...are you sure the tube is for your block?

The BB part number is : 69121

If that's what you have and it doesn't fit right..... Perhaps it's a SB part that's packaged wrong.

Yup. Big block. At least that is what the package said.
Hi Ted !! Thx for the idea. Hope your well.
Hi Mike. Saw the lokar. Looks nice.
Was hoping to get some fluids in the car to fire it up over the holiday weekend.
Thanks everyone! 👍

I've used both the Lokar and one from Mancini. Like the mancini one best. Sat a little higher and was able to get it out w/o burning my knuckles.

Ok

Mopar has offered a bunch of different dip sticks and tubes for both BB and Hemi in different body models and years shruggy
The early B body M.W. tubes came up behind the passenger head, the non M.W. BB came up along the rear of the block below the exhaust manifolds shruggy
I have kept all of the old ones I can get up devil

Will give John a call on Tuesday,,,,

A stock tube will work just fine, provided: No one has muscled and wiggled it back and forth, to get it out. Litteraly millions with that oring.

All I have ever used in 727 is stock tubes and matching dip dipsticks up shruggy
Make sure the tube is NOT bent at the O ring indentation before using it and use the proper scope twocents O ring
