I will say that AJ was the only reason I still had any interest in Pro Stock. That ends it for me. I wish him the best and say thanks for all the years running Mopar.

I don't blame him for leaving. I would have left years ago when Chrysler took the money and gave it to Nickens.

Great run for a continuously underfunded family operation.

I am DONE with Pro Stock.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

This doesn't really surprise me, I wish he and his dad well.
Hopefully they will stay involved in drag racing at some level.

Marothon oil was in for one year and stayed for two. Sounds like they will still be involved possibly on a limited schedule with possibly a younger driver

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

Very sorry to see him go and I wish him the very best for the rest of the year.

It would be great to see him back in a sportsman car.

It doesn't surprise me that AJ is retiring from PS, honestly I expected it last year. I think he only has a few round wins this year and I'm not sure he's made it out of the second round yet.

I wish he and his dad the best, they toughed it out for years and you have to respect them for it.

Looks like Marathon decided not to go in for 2018. Roy has said that Mopar isn't making parts and supply is short. Allen hinted on a podcast that they may keep the engine shop open.

Roy doesn't strike me as the type to take up Golf and retire. I'd be surprised if he doesn't keep building engines, perhaps for Super stock and the like. He has a Drag Pak Challenger from memory
