I just brought 1971 Duster 340 and I have a question, it about the hood and right now it has 6 pack hood and I know it not correct and I have build sheet but couldn't find code which hood is correct? I hoping it should be call out 340 Max Wedge or dual scoop?

No Fender Tag but have build sheet. It should be V24 or V... but not on build sheet.




Need Help Please.

A 71 Duster340 has only one hood, the flat one.

If the car has the V24 option (on the build sheet) the hood is painted black and has the 340 wedge call out

Correct, no hood scoops were available on any year 340 Dusters.

The V24 package included blackout in many other areas of the car as well (not just the hood) tops of fenders, cowl, tops of doors, upper quarters, drip trough surround, and A-pillars were also black.
