I've been running the Hoosier C07 10.5x30 Radial Slick. It hooks well on my car, but since Barney now has 100 + HP more they fade away very quick. Wondering what guys are using. Love the top end stability of a radial on a big car, but I may have no choice and have to go back to a Bias slick. Those running more than 800 HP on a 10.5 I need opinions. I can keep running these, but looking for something with a bit more life. Yes I'm conservative on the burnout if anyone is wondering. Thanks.

So far I've gone 9.20s at over 3500lbs in a 69 GTX on the above mention tire. All motor 540 Hemi. needs VERY little burn out. Not quite. Back at hotel. I went from 5 passes within .04 last night to only hooking 2 times in 7 passes today. Test and tunes. Gotta love them.

I use M/T 29.5x10.5 stiff sidewall ET Drag slicks w/ tubes when the track won't work w/ radials.

I know it was somewhat a prep issue because all the big power small tire guys were having trouble. That said, I do need new tires regardless.

We do ok on a 29.5x10.5 SS M/T. We have well north of 800HP NA. We have been 1.13 60' and 8.04 so far this year..

Pulled trigger on a set of M/T PBR's. $60 a tire cheaper than the Hoosiers I was running. I can get used to that.

You're going to love the PBR's. At Castrol I don't even use the line lock anymore. Just stab the throttle out of the burnout box, never had them spin yet and the 60 foot doesn't move more than about 8 thou all day. My car runs pretty much the same ET's as you.

Great to know. Thanks. I like that they are cheaper too. How many passes you getting on a set?

I just switched to them this year, with basically no burn out on them over close to 100 passes so far they look like new. I know of people in the states that say they're getting close to 300 passes on a set.

I'll be very happy if I can get 100+ on a set. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

Wookie , I went just over 150 passes before swapping out mine . There was still more left but was too close to end of season rounds to risk

I hope to see that # out of mine however it has been suggested to me that big power in a big car like mine may not like the sidewall punishment the receive and shorten the life of an average user.

Ran the PBR's this weekend. 60 is same as Hoosiers. Had to run 18 PSI to hook. Hoosier's work at 20. Lower PSI = lower MPH & ET. That was at SIR. Need to try at Castrol yet.

Wookie , I am at 16 1/4psi thereabouts . Didn't like the 18 1/2 I used in the Hoosier radial
