I found some rubber bumpers that have a slight bend can they be fixed? I know chrome shops fix them just wondering if anyone has had them fixed that way..

Maybe some heat? Do they use a metal core? Do they straighten out when mounted?

Are you talking about actual rubber bumpers or bumper guards with the rubber inserts?

IIRC, they are backed with steel almost the entire length. Probably can be straightened with careful thought and a decent press.

Yes they can be straightened. Had a set straightened in the 90s at a place Los Angeles that specialized in bumper covers.

I would check with the GTO guys for who straightens their stuff
