Thanks for the exhaust help
Can I determine if my car originally came with a 4 speed transmission using the vin number or is there another way

Usually that is the only way.

Manual transmission cars have a swivel bracket mounted to the drivers frame rail. That can be easily added.

What year B Body is it?

Its a 1965 Coronet 500 with a Hurst package and a 4 speed. I'm trying to determine if the 4 speed is original to the car
thanks for your help

FCA Historical can provide a decode/copy of the original IBM card - it will contain original options of a 1967 & earlier car.

there is no such thing as a "HURST package" for a '65 DODGE, 4-speed cars had a Hurst shifter

Ok, I'm clueless. There is a Hurst emblem on both sides under the 500 and I was told that the "Hurst Package" included the tach on the middle console. So, anyway, how do I determine if my car came with a 4 speed

does it have a fender tag?
what's the first 4 digits of the VIN?

post a pic and/or list the codes - what's under A/? B/? C/? D/? E/? of the middle row?

there were ZERO factory HURST badges of any kind on any of the "big 3" manufacturer's vehicles in 1965

Someone stuck a couple of Hurst badges on it and made up the story.
